Austin, TX (24 May 2005) - Triact Associates,
Inc. this month announced the release of a new offering to speed
integration of external software to the BaaN ERP system through Web
Services. "The introduction of SOAPbox.NETTM
enables us to provide all the benefits of
SOAPboxTM
for BaaN
to clients committed to a Microsoft technology stack" explains Steve
Terry, president of Triact. Leveraging existing interfaces to BaaN,
including DDC and OpenWorld, SOAPbox for BaaN provides an extensible
interface and business logic framework for accessing BaaN data and
transactions. Configurable transaction queues allow administrators
to tune performance by transaction type and company within BaaN.
Extensive and easy to access transaction logs make it easy to track down
issues when they first occur. "SOAPboxTM
technology frees clients' application developers from protocol
housekeeping of proprietary interfaces", said Ken Ankele, VP of
Professional Services at Triact. "Application developers and
Business Analysts are able to access the data and functionality of Baan
through web services just as if it were a standard library in their
favorite development environment. Productivity and software reuse
increase as client staff is able to focus on business processes and
application functionality."
